LSST Now Available for All LINSINGER Heavy Rail Milling Machines
Portfolio Expansion. With LINSINGER Smart Surface Technology (LSST), LINSINGER is taking rail maintenance to the next level. This innovative surface finishing process uses a closed-loop shot peening system to create a homogeneous, precisely defined surface structure while equalizing the periodicity of the milling facets – without heat input, sparks, or any impact on longitudinal rail waviness. Combined with the milling process, LSST enables the world’s first completely spark-free rail reprofiling process.
First introduced in 2024, the technology has since been extensively proven in the field. More than 350 shifts have been successfully completed, and the process has already been approved by European infrastructure managers. LSST is now also available for the LINSINGER SF 03, SF 06, MG 31, and the Railmaster®, making this innovative surface finishing technology available across LINSINGER’s entire heavy rail milling machine portfolio.
